Amazon Product Review of the Jabra Elite 65t

Amazon Product Review of the Jabra Elite 65t

Jabra Elite 65t Wireless Earphones – I purchased the Jabra 65t to supplement my Wireless Bose Sound Link 2 due to the headband messing up my hair. Another reason I bought them was that I recently moved into an iPhone 8 utilizes Bluetooth 5. I picked up a pair on sale from $220, reduced to $170. This sale is the motivator for me to jump on these earbuds. One of the main reasons was the sale price and the other was the lack of companies offering Bluetooth 5 headsets.

REAL WORLD Battery Usage: 5 hours 4.7/5 (15 hours if you include the two extra charges that come with the carrying case/external charging case) I have no yet to confirm that this charger actually holds an additional two charges.
(REAL WORLD) Wireless Range: about 80-100 feet
(MAX) Wireless Range: 138 Paces (I’m 6’2) 414 feet (With an unobstructed line of sight) 80 feet with when it is partially obstructed.
Build Quality: The build quality is excellent, but they are so slippery be prepared for them to fall.
Sound Quality: It is slightly lower quality compared to my Bose Sound Link 2 running Bluetooth 4.2. Higher quality than my previous Apple Air Pods. Keep in mind that they are ear-buds and not huge, over the ear headphones which use a much larger speaker.
Voice Call: This is the weakness of these earbuds. The open style mic picks up ALL street noise making for a very poor conversation. The wearer of the headset can hear fine, it is the person on the other end that deals with bone crushing noise. When there is no external noise they are excellent. 0/5
Great set of headphones overall, but I can’t wait until Bose and Apple release their next generation Bluetooth 5 earphones/earbuds. I hate to say it, but you can’t compare the AirPods to the Jabra because the Jabra is far more advanced than the AirPods. I’m a Bose and Apple Guy and neither company loses battles when it comes to its tech. I guarantee everyone that they are taking their time to bring a Jabra crushing earphones. I am looking forward to giving another Amazon Product Review as competitor earphones are released.

Sincerely,
